Hey! I’m Mark. And I love music & film.

 

When I’m not busy writing, directing or producing in the film & TV space, I spend time with my first true love: MUSIC.

 

From a young age, I learned to play the piano. From there, I graduated to guitar, both acoustic and electric, where I performed in various bands -- expanding into bass, drums / percussion, and keys. This experience also helped me master technical skills in music production, from recording to mixing and mastering. During this time, my love of 80’s cinema and composers like John Carpenter and Tangerine Dream cemented my passion for synthesizer film scores.  While composers like John Williams and Alan Silvestri inspired a deep fascination with orchestral arrangements. Eventually I began composing my own film scores.

 

I currently live in Los Angeles, where I work out of my home studio, complete with a top-of-the-line Mac Studio Pro, Arturia KeyLab professional-grade 88-key MIDI controller, and a massive library of every instrumentation imaginable: from electronic, to organic and orchestral.
